It’s Fall Festival with a new TWIST

We’re taking it into the community!

This year we are taking Fall Festival into our community - "Home for the City" at your home IN the city! For those LifeGroups and ministries who prepared "booth" games in the past, we suggest you play those games in your front yard. We will provide six "bouncy houses" to families who want to use them. First come - first served. Information cards will be made available. You can distribute these cards to let people know of the great family activities and other opportunities coming up at FBC Moore. Get to know those in your neighborhood a little better and spread the love of God! More information in the next few weeks.
  • Put a golden ticket in every bag
  • Give BIG candy if you can
  • Look for parents/grandparents that you know
  • Make a note of who they are - make a note!
  • Pray for them that next week
  • Go and seek them out; remind them of the golden ticket
  • Begin a relationship with them, with the intent of seeing them know Christ

City Rescue Mission Luncheon

Women’s SALT Ministry Hosting City Rescue Mission Luncheon

On Saturday, November 15, from 12:00 - 3:30, the SALT Ladies Ministry is once again hosting a luncheon for the ladies from the City Rescue Mission. Still needed are warm clothing, coats, boots and shoes. For the homeless ministry in general, we need these items for men also, plus sleeping bags, blankets, gloves and hot hands hand warmers. There are boxes around the church labeled for this ministry.

Care Center Needs

What do peanut butter & jelly, sacks and a refrigerator have in common? Our Care Center!

Our Care Center is in need of the classic combination of PB&J. Also needed are brown paper sacks. On a larger scale, a refrigerator is needed. You may drop the PB& J and sacks at collection bins at the west entrance of the church and at the Recreation Center entrance. Do not attempt to drop the refrigerator off at these locations, because it will not fit. Instead, contact Kathy McCullough at 405-317-0738 or kathy.mccullough@fbcmoore.org

Surviving the Holidays – Nov. 9th

No matter how long it's been since your loved one died, grief can make the holidays a painful time. But there's hope. Join us next Sunday, November 9, at 3:00 PM in W202 for an encouraging seminar that will help you survive the holidays and discover new reasons to enjoy them again. Contact Joyce Erwin at 405-826-6749 or jerwin3@cox.net to pre-register or for more information.

United 2015 – January 23-25

United 2015 is a weekend of intense fun and discipleship in out student ministry for grades 7-12. To make this happen, we need 12 host homes and 12 co-hosts to serve alongside those in the host homes. If you would like to volunteer for this incredible weekend, please e-mail Tim at tim.harless@fbcmoore.org
