First Learning Center

Our Mission:

First Learning Center is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Moore. Our mission is to develop children to fulfill God’s purpose of worship and service. We are committed to the physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of each child, developing their confidence and self-worth, preparing them for a successful entry into kindergarten. We strive to compliment parents’ responsibility by modeling God’s love and teaching foundational Biblical truths to each child, while maintaining a safe, sanitary, stimulating, positive environment for our students.

Enrollment Info:

You may contact the office and add your child’s name to the waiting list for the current session. Pre enrollment for the 2013-2014 session opens April 1st, 2013.

What we do:

FLC offers classes for ages birth to 5 years. School days are Thursdays and Fridays 9:30am-2:30pm. We follow the Moore Public School calendar.

Curriculum is theme based to include Bible stories, letters, numbers, arts & crafts, outdoor play, centers, music & kidfit.

Thursday mornings the children attend chapel with Brother Walter Bradley. He tells a short Bible story and shares a memory verse.

Special Activity Days are scattered throughout the year.

Children perform a Christmas and spring program.

What to bring:

Children are asked to bring a cold lunch and change of clothes to school every day. These items should be labeled with their name and in their backpacks. A light jacket is suggested most days.

Two and under have a scheduled naptime and need a nap mat, blanket and security item.

*Please note: Because of limited space, items cannot be stored at FLC.

We know each child is a unique gift from God. The FLC staff is caring and loving and wants to establish a happy place for a preschooler to grow and discover God’s love.

The Bible says “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.” (Luke 2:52) We have that goal for your child.
