What’s new in Men’s Ministry

Men of LIGHT, We have the following GO opportunities for you to get involved:

  • Disaster Relief Training – March 14, 2015 – First Moore Baptist Church will host Disaster Relief Training by the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma. This training will include: Debris Removal (formerly known as Mud Out), Assessment, and Feeding Unit. Registration begins at 8:00 am and training concludes at 3:30 pm. There is a $5 cost for first-time attenders.
  • Service Project at Trinity Baptist, OKC – March 28, 2015 – Skilled and unskilled labor is needed and welcome to accomplish various projects from 9 am to 3 pm. Projects include painting, flowerbeds, fencing, paneling removal and texturing.
  • Save the Date – Men Rewired at Falls Creek, April 24 – 25. On-line registration is in full swing. Be sure to list your church as First Baptist Moore to reserve a bunk in a cabin where we can group together.

Whats new in the Student Ministry?

First Moore Student Camp Registration Begins Today!

Students in Grades 7-12, register online for camp at Spring Valley Ranch in Eucha, OK., July 9-12, 2015. Cost is $50 if you register before June 1 and $75 after that. Registration ends June 28.


Applications for out Mission Trip to Wichita, Kansas

from August 2-7th, and the summer schedule are available in the Student Center.

Adult Discipleship Leaders needed for our students

"Cultivate" discipleship groups consist of an adult leader and three students that meet once a week (or when they can).

Please join in praying for Stu Tully as he preaches and conducts discipleship and evangelism training in Dong Nai in Ba Ria Vung Tua providence. Dan Nang and Quang Nam in Kon Tum providence (in the central Highlands) and in Hoc Mon and Ho Chi Minh City.

CrossTimbers Registration

Camp is July 6th - 9th for kids who have completed Grades 3-6

It is $100.00 from now until March 13th and after that it is $130.00. There is a non-refundable $25.00 registration fee necessary at registration.

FBC Kids Needs you!

The Children's Ministry keeps expanding. Please prayerfully consider serving in one of these areas to fill the expanding needs:

1 helper for class of 3-year olds at 11:00 am 1 helper for class of 2-year olds at 11:00 am 1 teacher for 4-year old class at 9:30 am 3 preschool helpers to assist once every 8 weeks at 9:30 am 3 teachers for special needs at 11:00 am 1 helper for sixth grade boys at 11:00 am

A New Cycle of Sessions Begins Feb 2nd.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. You don't have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare support groups are left by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. It meets on Mondays at 6:30 PM in Room W202. Student Ministry Music and Digital Media Discipleship Program

Professional counseling is available to FBC members on Monday evenings and two hours on Tuesday mornings with Gloria McCreary, a licensed professional counselor. Call Barbara Redman at 793-2600 for an appointment.

Get Real!

This program can help you get real- to have real joy and victory over depression, anger, sexual or chemical addiction, hurtful habits, and relationship problems.
