SALT – Spring Semester Bible Studies

If studying God’s word deeper, creating new relationships and fellowshipping with other women is on your “New Year’s” to do list, then this is the place to be!

As in previous semesters, we will have a Monday night Bible study starting on January 20 from 6:30-8:30 in room W202. They will be going through Jennie Allen’s study Chase, “This study explores the events that defined David’s life and the Psalms that flowed out of those experiences. God is the only thing we can chase that won’t leave us feeling empty.

Our Tuesday mornings are packed with four options of study this semester! Beginning January 21, at 9:30, you can join us for fellowship and listen to our teachers talk about each of the studies we are offering! Here is just a taste:

Sacred Secrets by Beth Moore; The world is obsessed with telling secrets for the sake for sensationalism. But not all hidden things are poisonous and dark. Join Beth to find out what happens when we let God teach us “wisdom in the secret heart.”

Gideon by Priscilla Shirer. This study will encourage you to recognize your weaknesses as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. If you’ve ever felt insufficient, ill-equipped, incompetent, or outnumbered, this study is for you.

Precept Upon Precept by Kay Arthur studying the book of Esther. What is your purpose? God is always working in the affairs of His creation, even when we are unaware. This study shows us how Esther attained royalty to fulfill God’s purpose in her life and the lives of His people. Can God use you “for such a time as this”?

Potpourri is a wonderful class led by Betty Rogers! In this class you can sit under various teachers from Beth Moore to Henry Blackaby!

Also going through a Jennie Allen study is our Wednesday night ladies! They meet from 6:00-8:00 in room E-109. There is childcare for this and also the AWANA program for older kids! The study these ladies will be doing is Stuck, “We are often so stuck in invisible struggles going on in our hearts and minds that we barely have space for God. Stuck takes on these struggles within us so that we can encounter God.”
