There are many opportunities for the people of First Moore to serve our community. You could decorate an space and hand out candy, donate candy, help with food, inflatables, parking, registration and more.
What is Trunk or Treat? Trunk or Treat is an outreach event for the families and children in our community. Trunk or Treat is similar to a Fall Festival in that it serves as a safe and fun alternative to traditional Halloween activities. It also provides a great opportunity to connect with our community.
When is Trunk or Treat? Sunday, October 29 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
How does a Trunk or Treat work? At a Trunk or Treat event, people decorate their trunks(now an area in the church) and give candy or prizes out to the children as they walk by. (You could even have a game at your area if you would like.) We have set a goal for 60 decorated trunks to help make this a fun family event. (The church will provide the candy you give out at your trunk.)
How can I be a part of this event? There are several ways that you can be a part:
Decorating a trunk(spot in the church) and hand out candy.
Donating wrapped candy to be handed out. (There are three candy donation boxes around the church where you can drop off your candy donations. There is a box at each first-floor elevator.)
Work at the Snack Stop.
Help set up/run activities. (connector team, inflatables, pumpkin painting, safety team, etc.)
Help clean up following the event.
