Church Work Day

Our annual Church Work Day will take place on Saturday, April 6. This is a day when all ages come to the campus to help clean, pull weeds, trim hedges and trees, touch up paint, remove trash, freshen the flower beds, and whatever else that may need to be done. God has entrusted us with a large campus that requires much work. Helping on this day is a great way to build relationships and grow closer as a church body! If you have one hour or all four hours, we’d be glad to see you there! Save the date and come and help.

Trunk or Treat

First Moore is excited to host a night of fun, food, games, and more for the family on Sunday, October 29 from 5:00-7:00pm.

There are many opportunities for the people of First Moore to serve our community. You could decorate an space and hand out candy, donate candy, help with food, inflatables, parking, registration and more.

What is Trunk or Treat?  Trunk or Treat is an outreach event for the families and children in our community. Trunk or Treat is similar to a Fall Festival in that it serves as a safe and fun alternative to traditional Halloween activities. It also provides a great opportunity to connect with our community.

When is Trunk or Treat?  Sunday, October 29 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.

How does a Trunk or Treat work?  At a Trunk or Treat event, people decorate their trunks(now an area in the church) and give candy or prizes out to the children as they walk by. (You could even have a game at your area if you would like.) We have set a goal for 60 decorated trunks to help make this a fun family event. (The church will provide the candy you give out at your trunk.)

How can I be a part of this event?  There are several ways that you can be a part:

  • Decorating a trunk(spot in the church) and hand out candy.

  • Donating wrapped candy to be handed out. (There are three candy donation boxes around the church where you can drop off your candy donations. There is a box at each first-floor elevator.)

  • Work at the Snack Stop.

  • Help set up/run activities. (connector team, inflatables, pumpkin painting, safety team, etc.)

  • Help clean up following the event.
